Parent-Child Mother Goose Program®

The Parent-Child Mother Goose Program is a free of charge, group experience for parents and their babies and young children. It focuses on the pleasure and power of using songs, rhymes and oral stories.

Fall, Winter and Spring sessions are available for both infants and toddlers.

Young Parents Group

This is a free-of-charge group for parents in their mid-teens to mid-twenties. It is a participant driven group that covers a wide variety of activities and topics.

Community Kitchens - Fort Saskatchewan

This is a cooking program for parents who get together and cook in bulk for their families. Available in one or two day sessions. Childcare is available.

Books, Sing and Sign

This relaxed 8 week program takes the best of Books for Babies and Sing and Sign and blends them together to create an hour of cuddling and connecting between parents/caregivers and their wee ones (Birth to 36 months).

Triple P: Positive Parenting Programs

Triple P Seminar Series

Come out to this 2 hour workshop and take away some practical parenting ideas. Seminar topics are:

Triple P Discussion group

Discussion groups are 2 hour sessions that offer practical advice to parents dealing with specific behaviors. The sessions available are:

  • Dealing with Disobedience

  • Managing Fighting and Aggression
  • Hassel Free Shopping with Children

Triple P Tip Sheets

Tip Sheets are for parents who would like to focus on one area of parenting. See the list of "Tip Sheet" topics we have available. 

Triple P Group

This group is 8 weeks long, 5 in-class and 3 telephone sessions. Parents are asked to set specific goals for their family and learn practical tools to reach those goals.

Kids Have Stress Too

This is a workshop that helps parents and caregivers understand childhood stress and how to provide children with the tools to deal with stress effectively. We talk about the signs, symptoms and strategies to help our children deal with stress.
